Let me Explain.
These days “Churches” can mean Anything: It can mean “Very Religious” but missing the real thing…….. it can mean “A Sunday Habit” accompanied with Hypocrisy……..it can mean “Socialize The Gospel” and leave Jesus out of it, so Rude and Thoughtless of them……..it can be “A Society of People” with some Very strange beliefs……..it can be “A Bunch of Rules and Regulations”…….. it can mean “Trampling the Grace of God under foot” and deny Jesus any mention of What He Did for Us……..it can be “A Christian Cult” practicing Mind Controlling beliefs……..and……..it can be “A Profit Making Business”……..also……..a place that “Promotes Itself” with “Fancy Sounding Words” but Jesus describes them as “Lifeless” when it comes to
Functioning how He wishes us to.
Believe it or not, all that has to do with the Roman Emperor Constantine deliberately Changing the Way the Early Christians did everything – namely the way they Fellowshipped in 313AD. He considered Christianity a Threat to his Earthly Kingdom because Christians had great Favour with the People because of the way they Gathered Together in Each-Other’s Houses with Joy – they were a Cheerful bunch and they had Peace in their Hearts that was tangible in turbulent times. People craved for their Joy and Peace and asked if they could join in and discover Jesus personally like these Believers had – they Welcomed them to do so.
Different to what a lot of Local Churches think, Constantine was Not commissioned to help Christians – he Changed Christianity to a “State Institution” the very thing that Jesus expressly did not want (the buildings and services with hierarchy etc) As some of you will agree, that Spoilt Everything. And things have stayed that way to this day. But the Spirit of God has been raising up a Lot of “Home Churches” also known as “Simple Churches” in recent years, and a Lot of Believers who have Left the Local Churches Scene are now gathering together like that. It’s more Jesus and Family orientated, the way it’s meant to be. And I share those sentiments.
So I openly say to people often, I am not a “religious churchy person”
and I prefer to take my Walk with Jesus seriously and Enjoy Him.
So while this Website is Family Friendly and Christian Friendly, it has absolutely nothing to do with a Local Church or to promote those
and I like to think that people who have not “found Jesus” are comfortable with that.
